HI and thanks for visiting! Having settled in to the Nashville scene for a couple years now, I am a live/session drummer, guitarist, songwriter and producer/arranger. I'm also pretty fair at Yahtzee.
I toured for 3 years as drummer, producer and musical director for Midwest original rock band, Abby SomeOne. The band experienced some modest national radio and touring success, but not enough for any of us to afford a better wardrobe.
In addition to playing for Abby SomeOne, I'm a sideman to my favorite songwriters and performers.
I've had the pleasure of collaborating with great artists like Martin Meyer, David Lee Brown, Don Henry, Betty Dylan, Kenward Cooper, The Toluenes, Gordy Pratt, Lani Nash and Red Velvet Slide.
I've never been to a show where people would say "If only the drummer would have played more fills," and that's the approach I take in my playing--make it groove, keep great time, and let the song speak. As for my drumming influences, I'd have to list Kenny Aronoff, Jeff Porcaro, Billy Ward, Stan Lynch, Chris Layton, Bonham and Ringo.
